Moisture Vapor Barrier System

An effective moisture vapor barrier, Rockhard MVB Moisture Vapor Barrier is designed to hold back water vapor and moisture coming up through a concrete slab. Moisture-related problems can become more prevalent in certain environments.

Flooring contractors are not the only ones who suffer from damage caused by uncontrolled water vapor seeping through concrete slabs. Public health and the health of workers who operate on concrete slabs are also negatively affected. Aside from this, water vapor containing alkali can also cause structural failures of concrete slabs.

Concrete slabs are protected from moisture with Rockhard MVB Moisture Vapor Barrier. Although concrete is poured wet, it shouldn't remain that way. To avoid concrete flooring problems, the surface must dry thoroughly before it can be refinished.
